Over the years more and more kids are staring not to believe in Santa Claus because they don't see him. Just because you don't see him dosen't mean he isn't there. Kids imagination run off into many diffrent directions. Have you ever thought of Santa being invisible? Sounds impossible? How do you know? Anything is possible like Santa getting to every house in the world sounds impossible right? But it is possible becuase he does it. So I think everyone should believe in Santa Claus because the more you believe in him the more presents you get! Lets see what Santa Claus gets you this year!

Letter to Santa
Christmas is my favorite holdiay out of all the others. It is almost here and this is what I want. One of the things I want for Christmas is a Trampoline like the one all of my friends have. I would want the kind that has a net around it and is about 8 feet lenth wise. They are so fun to jump around on and play dodge ball on. Like I always do with my firiends on their trampolines. All of my friends have trampolines and I feel left out when ever they come over my house there is nothing to do becasue I have no trampoline. Whenever I'm over my friends house we always go on the trampoline for like about 2 hours and have alot of fun. But nope it isn't like that at my house I have no trampoline and my parents say there is no where to put it but I already measured a spot to put it and the ground is perfecctly flat!
I think I deserve a trampoline becasue I have been wanting one for THREE years! There not that much at all I saw a trampoline in a magazine and it was only $175. I could buy that myself! It would increase my time outside like my mom wants me to do so I would not be sitting inside doing nothing at all. I would also get my homework done faster becasuse I would want to go on the trampoline.
Please get me a trampoline Santa. I have been wanting it for three years.

**Thanksgivng is almost here!!!**
I can't wait until Thanksgiving! Just 2 more days! I just love how we all just sit down and eat the delicious food we sent so much time on making. My favorite part about Thanksgiving is pumpkin pie! I love pumkin pie it's my favorite! I wish i can have the whole pie to myself. Well anyways i did some reserch about Thanksgiving and i found out that the first Thanksgiving was on 1621, I kind of already knew that. Other than that I found out that the survivng 53 pilgrims celebrated it with their successful harvest. I have a picture at the end of my blog of a painting of the first Thanksgiving in Plymouth. It was painted by Brownscombe but it dosen't say when he painted it. Well i guess i will be going now. Thanksgiving, here i come!!!!!!!!

*Halloween*
Halloween is my second most favorite holiday. My favorite part about it is how everybody wears a costume and that everybody is usually different. I also like how Halloween is scary and people tell scary stories. I loved getting scared i don't really know why i just think it is fun getting scared , especially scaring other people. It is so funny how people jump and scream when they get scared , I love scaring people. I love scaring my friend DyNique it is so funny she gets freaked out especially if you do it unexpectedly. I'm being a chicken for Halloween. I feel really stupid with the costume on cause it's really big and i look funny. I can't wait until Halloween on Sunday!

**Patriotism**
**Does Patriotism Still Matter?**
Patriotism does still matter to me and I think it should to everyone. Patriotism means caring for our country and what it has done for us.
If no one thought patriotism doesn’t matter anymore no one would care for our country. They wouldn’t what happens in wars or anything. People wouldn’t care about what happens to our country. They wouldn’t take care of it anymore and our country would be a mess. And that wouldn’t be good because nothing would matter anymore and it would just be a disaster. No one would join the army or any other forces like that to protect our country because no one cares about our country anymore.
I don’t get why some people hate this country. What is wrong with it? At least we have a lot of people caring about our country. I sure do I would want to be in the army or some other group that protects our country when I am older. I would like to protect our country because I like being protected. I like being safe. When I grow up I actually think I’m going to be in the army or one of the groups that protect our country.
I’m glad that we have people fighting for our country. And that they’re risking there lives for all of us. Just think of all the things they do for us. It’s a lot of things and I think they deserve something in return for there work. We should send them gifts or letters thanking them for all the work they done for us. I hope more people start understanding that patriotism does still matter because it does still matter.
I hope more people under patriotism now and how much it means, and why it still does matter a lot.

**Ralph Fletcher**
In Marshfield Dreams Ralph Fletcher explains most of his childhood memories in the book and explains them in easy sentences.
In Ralph Fletcher's vignette "First Pen" he states, "When i was eight, Dad bought me a pen." ( Fletcher, 2005, p.43 ) He says that the story is going to be about his first pen that his father gave him. It's just a simple sentence but it tells what the whole story is going to be about.
In another one of Ralph Fletcher's vignette "Bobby" he states, 'he sat in the playpen happy as pie, like he had no idea what was coming, which of course he didn't." ( Fletcher, 2005, p. 59 ) This sentence tells you that something good or bad is going to happen in the story. It turns out to be bad because he ends up telling you that his brother Bobby died in his senior year of high school in a car accident.
Ralph Fletcher has a good writing strategy and he is easy to understand when he is writing.

Of course the last parade in elementary school is the best. I could of walked forever it was so fun with the people tripping our costumes looked awesome and a lot of people were video taping us.it felt like they were paparazzi. My friends Michael, Reilly, and Nick were all nerds. It was so funny we looked really funny.a lot of funny things happened like, I kept tripping on my pants because they were so big, my glasses kept falling off, and the pens and pencils kept falling out of my pockets. I wish i can do another Halloween parade there so fun. Lets see what my next blog will be....

**Fall Festival**
The Fall Festival was really fun. They had all sorts of things there. I always get fried oreos from a stand called Zeppelins. i had so much fun there but i would of liked it better if it was two nights and it was on Amboy ave. I just walked around the whole time with all of my friends. The thing i remember the most was the fireworks. It was really exciting watching them. Most of my friends were there. Even though it wasn't the best Fall festival yet, it was still amazing seeing the fireworks and everything else. I hope the next Fall Festival is like this one. I wonder what I'm going to write for my next blog....

**Lockers....**
Changing from elementary school to middle school is a really big change. You get lockers, changing classes, etc. My favorite part about middle school is our lockers. I don't really know why it's just kind of fun opening them. My locker got flipped the other day but whoever flipped it didn't close it all the way. I just unlocked since they didn't close it all the way and flipped it the other way. I think it might of been one of my friends. It was really funny finding it unlocked. I'm going to keep an eye out to watch who flips my lock this time. It's my second time getting my lock flipped.
